Annual Awards

Since 2008, the National Foundation has been giving out the annual “Heart Print” award for the development of volunteering among children and youth in the Republic of Croatia. The award is given to primary schools for innovative volunteering initiatives and to secondary schools for innovative models of involving youth into volunteering activities.

From 2012 to 2014, the National Foundation gave awards for social innovation of CSOs and foundations for most innovative proposals of high quality feasible changes of the existing problems in social activities, and awards for participatory democracy (from 2008 to 2010), which were given to units of local and regional self-government for good practice examples of cooperation with citizens and civil society organisations.
