The National Foundation provides systematic support to the promotion and development of civil society through grant giving programmes, by co-financing EU projects, through international and EU programmes
Our numerous activities expressed in statistical data demonstrate that from 2004 to 2016, the National Foundation achieved the following results: 4369 approved financial and non-financial grants to civil society organisations and other non-profit organisations. HRK 371,207,639.90 invested into civic initiatives, projects, programmes, institutional grants, awards, cooperation and partnerships, 6031 persons employed through the National Foundation’s financial grants, more than 100,000 volunteers involved in CSO activities.
In addition, the National Foundation gave 121 awards, 131 scholarships for CSO representatives, and supported the conduct of 23 studies, organisation of numerous conferences, round tables, consultations, publishing of books, publications, portals, internet services, bulletins.
Through numerous European and international funds and programmes, the National Foundation has fostered the possibility of obtaining financial grants, as well as interim and pre-financing of approved projects financed from EU funds.
