A Letter from the Frontline – Croatian civil society faces a double crisis

Take a look at an article published by EURACTIV portal, where Cvjetana Plavša-Matic -director of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, Croatia - writes about the current situation for NGOs in our country, affected by the COVID-19 disease pandemic and the recent earthquake affecting some parts of the country.

The text underlines that the EU, when planning the measures that would focus on the mitigation of the loses caused by the pandemic, should also take into account the needs of the civil society organizations, as the NGOs have taken on much of the work to address the consequences of the mentioned chellenges, as well as provided assistance to the affected citizens, but are left out from the urgent financial support tools.
