As a level two intermediate body, The National Foundation for Civil Society Development pays special attention to professionalism and effectiveness when implementing tasks entrusted to it under the “Efficient Human Resources” Operative Programme. Additionally, the Foundation places particular emphasis on working and communicating with the beneficiaries of grants from the European Social Fund (ESF) as important factors that contribute to the efficient and timely usage of funds available to the Republic of Croatia under that Programme.

With its decision of 2 September 2018, the Management Board of the Foundation set into motion the process of establishing the regional branches of the National Foundation in Osijek, Rijeka and Split, which will marked by opening celebrations held on:

  • 8 May 2018 in Split, 18 Osječka Street at 9 o’clock
  • 14 May 2018 in Rijeka, 2 Žrtava fašizma Street at 11 o’clock
  • 17 May 2018 in Osijek, 26 Hrvatske Republike Street at 11 o’clock

Those branches are a component of the Department for Supporting and Monitoring the Implementation of EU Programmes at the National Foundation. They are tasked with giving support to beneficiaries of approved grants from the ESF at the local and regional level in order to enhance the level of professionalism and effectiveness connected with the implementation of project activities focusing on end-users, the quality of approved funds usage and the influence on the social (and economic) development in the Republic of Croatia.
