One-off grants to development initiatives

National level

In order to react to the current needs of civil society development in the Republic of Croatia and outside the framework provided for in calls for proposals and for expression of interest in cooperation, partnerships and awards, the National Foundation may also accept ad hoc development initiatives of civil society organisations, provided only that those initiatives appear at a time outside the deadlines planned by the calendar of calls for proposals and expression of interest in cooperation. To such development initiatives the National Foundation may approve amounts that can be no higher than 30% of the highest amount defined for grants through calls for expression of interest in cooperation with the National Foundation.

International level

Within the framework of one-off grants to development initiatives on the international level, the National Foundation has established:

• Programme of co-financing approved projects within the programme "Cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean",
• Pre-financing and interim financing programme "Europa plus",

with the possibility of opening other similar programmes supporting and fostering activities of civil society organisations on the international level, and more efficient utilisation of international funds, especially of EU funds intended for civil society organisations, in accordance with the National Foundation's annual operational plans.
