E-misija programme inviting to workshops in Virovitica and Bjelovar

Thursday, 21 April 2016

E-misija programme is inviting civil society organisations to the workshop on the subject of “How to assess the efficiency of your organisation”, which will take place in Virovitica, and the workshop on “Good economy as a strategy of transition into a sustainable community”, which will take place in Bjelovar.

The workshop on “How to assess the efficiency of your organisation“ will take place on Wednesday, 27 April 2016, in Virovitica, on the premises of the Social Welfare Centre, Vladimira Nazora 1, Virovitica from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The aim of the workshop is to familiarise the participants with the check list called “Petiole” for self-evaluation of monitoring and self-evaluation of CSOs. The information obtained through this analysis is the foundation for building CSO capacities in the area of organisational development and management. The analysis is the first step leading to strengthening the organisation's competences and capabilities, and is based on the self-assessment in ten areas of organisational development, with the results providing clear information on which areas should be given more attention. The process of self-assessment is followed by work on the development of capacities and strengthening of those areas of organisational development which are through self-assessment shown to be less developed.

The workshop on “Good economy as a strategy of transition into a sustainable community“ will take place on Thursday, 28 April 2016, in Bjelovar, on the premises of the Stjepan Radić Local Committee Home, Andrije Mohorovičića 59, Bjelovar, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The aim of this workshop is to familiarise the representatives of civil society organisations and representatives of the local community with the steps we can take to create a sustainable community: to reduce and eliminate social inequality, preserve and develop natural and social resources, empower the local community by citizens' self-organising, and the quality of life of the society at large. The workshop will also include a presentation of the examples of good economy from Croatia, Europe and the world.

The workshops will take place on the premises accessible to persons with disability.
