National Foundation Branch Opens in Rijeka

The opening ceremony of the National Foundation Branch in Split – which is a a component of the Department for Supporting and Monitoring the Implementation of EU Programmes at the National Foundation tasked with giving support to beneficiaries of approved grants from the ESF at the local and regional level in order to enhance the level of professionalism and effectiveness connected with the implementation of project activities focusing on end-users, the quality of approved funds usage and the influence on the social (and economic) development in the Republic of Croatia – was held on Monday, 14 May 2018.

Foundation Head Cvjetana Plavša-Matić, Minister of Labour and the Pension System Marko Pavić, M.Sc., Mayor of Rijeka Vojko Obersnel and Prefect of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Petar Mamula greeted the attendees in their speeches.

Numerous civil society representatives, Head of the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Government of Croatia Helena Beus, Managing Board President of the National Foundation Dražen Vikić Topić, prof. D.Sc., Managing Board Member of the National Foundation Vesna Vašiček, prof. D.Sc., Vice-Head of Development Programs Marija Boltek, Vice-Head of European Union Programs Luka Bogdan and Head of Service for programs and projects of associations at the Ministry for Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy Nina Krznarić Uroda.
