Second Decision on Financing the Projects of Associations from the Homeland War Published

The Ministry for Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy of the Republic of Croatia, as an Intermediate Body Level 1, as part of the permanently open Call for Project Proposals UP.02.2.2.10. "Development and Expansion of the Network of non-Institutional Services for Croatian War Veterans and Civil Victims of the Homeland War" issued on January 28, 2020 the Second Financing Decision co-financed by the European Social Fund and amounting to HRK 51,153,121.21 intended for grant-giving.

By that Decision, 29 Homeland War organizations approved grants for the implementation of their projects.

The objective of the permanently open Call is to develop and expand networks of non-institutional services for Croatian war veterans and civil victims of the Homeland War based on cooperation with organizations from the Homeland War, which will receive grants to provide services to the mentioned target groups of the Call.

Services for target groups will include the provision of psychosocial assistance, health care and assistance in carrying out daily life activities, and their purpose is to contribute to an increase of social inclusion and improvement of the quality of life of Croatian veterans and civil victims of the Homeland War.

Through the implementation of the projects the Homeland War associations will have the opportunity to develop their existing knowledge, acquire new knowledge and skills and recruit new experts, which will strengthen their capacity to provide services to the target group and complement the existing system of care for Croatian veterans and victims of the Homeland War.

The implementing bodies in the EU Funds management system which prepared this call, participated in the selection of projects, and will monitor project implementation are the Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy, as the Level 1 Intermediate Body, and the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, as the Level 2 Intermediate Body.
